There’s something about weddings that makes you want to buy that wow dress (if you’re a girl of course…but maybe if you a boy too..?) that we’d hope no one else came even close to visualizing. It’s peculiar because I’m not normally pro-dress, they’re just not versatile enough to survive my wardrobe in the long run and unlike a skirt, you can’t mix and match it to form a brand new outfit every time. So on the one occasion that I prohibit myself to buy a dress is for a wedding as unfortunately a skirt doesn’t quite cut it at such a formal event…It does mean over the years I have developed a huge rail of beautiful smart dresses that I’ve worn just the once, anybody else have this problem? I wonder if there’s enough people out there to make a website to swap dresses for formal events such as weddings…hmmm
I’m wearing a pastel mint peplum shift dress from the online turned offline shop Kiss Jane, teamed with black studded heels from Zara, silver cuff – T&Co., rings are handmade from a beautiful jeweler called Bambu in Semiyak, Bali, silver vintage look necklace from H&M.
