All fashion keen eyes were on Kate during the Jubes weekend and she didn’t disappoint with her faultlessly selected, classically fitted outfits, oozing with buckets of Britishness.
Personally, I’m completely transfixed with her ability to rock a single colour outfit, she’s definitely the epiphany of British royalty cool. And when you add the fact Alexander McQueen is her choice of brand, she’s winning plenty of brownie points from both me and probably a whole nation, if not the whole World who were watching – what a perfect Princess!
At the show at St Pauls Cathedral, Kate wears a beautiful, very demure nude laced Sarah Burton creation – It’s body hugging but conservative, super subtle but chic (www.alexandermcqueen.co.uk)
During the Queen’s River Pageant, The Dutchess of Cambridge goes for Alexander McQueen again, but a striking red pleated dress from the Autumn 2011 collection.
Her third mono colour outfit is a pale pink Emilia Wickstead pleated coat dress, in keeping with her long-sleeved, pleated and knee length, classy theme for Jubilee. The dress is from the AW 2012 collection of beautifully crafted double crepe wool frocks, see the collection here: www.emiliawickstead.com.
Pale blues, mustards and reds are key colours If you’re looking to create some mono colour outfits of your own.
